Friday night I spent a much-yearned for evening pottering about on my boat. I did some gardening, some rowing round the docks under cover of darkness and some bonding with the Ganges.

My sudden 'freedom' to stay on my beloved vessel was brought about by TOH wanting the flat empty for when he and his pals got back from his London stag do!

See, getting married does have some benefits other than tax relief.
